Location: North Fork Rd. In Nehalem, next to the county shops.

Hours open: Mon thru Fri 7 am to 1 pm

Winter Hours begin after Labor Day Weekend, and end on Memorial Day Weekend.

Please rinse containers, remove lids and labels, and flatten large items.

Recycling: No charge.

Cans -
• Aluminum - non-returnable cans, foil, and trays
• "Tin" (steel)

Bottles & Jars - Glass - clear, green, & brown
• labels & lids ok
no drinking glasses, windows, light bulbs or mirrors

Plastic - milk jugs & mixed bottles
• anything with a neck, all #'s & colors
no bags or lids, tubs and cups (margarine, etc.) are okay
no motor oil or pesticide containers

Paper - loose (no strings or bags), no tissue or towels
• Newspaper, Magazines, Catalogs, & Slick paper
• White Office Paper, Mixed paper - junk mail, colored, mailing labels ok - (no dayglow or goldenrod)

Deposit Cans and Bottles - do not crush

Scrap Metal - ask for sorting help

Cardboard - Corrugated Boxes & Brown Bags, Grayboard - cereal boxes, egg cartons, etc., Waxed Cardboard

Motor Oil and Car Batteries, Household Batteries

Drop off available for:

Household Waste.

Construction Debris - separate charges apply for heavy trash, dry wall, comp. roofing, & non-burnable wood debris

Tires (car) - fees vary by tire size.

Yard Debris - grass, leaves, brush, flowers, and vegetables. No hay, straw or animal waste.

Scrap Metal - A donation is appreciated to cover recycling costs. We can recycle the steel in appliances and other ferrous scrap though we must pay to have it hauled.

Refrigerators & Freezers - Fee applies for compressor removal. We do this ourselves on site, then the rest goes with our metal bin.

Washer, Dryer, Range, Water heaters - Fees apply These can be recycled as metal.
