(Closed early on Christmas eve and New years eve)

RECYCLE THESE ITEMS - NO CHARGE

CAR BATTERIES
Car/truck only - no marine batteries

SCRAP METAL
no charge; remove non-metal items

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING
Computers, accessories, monitors, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, stereos, cell phones, and rechargeable batteries.

RECYCLING DEPOT
Recycle glass, tin cans, newspaper, cardboard, plastic bottles, motor oil and other items at our full-service depot.

TIRES
auto/pick-up $4, with rim $8,
truck $10, with rim $20

CLEAN WOOD
$50.00 per ton,
$12 minimum (up to 400 lbs)

APPLIANCES
refrigerator/freezer - $45
washer, dryer, etc. - $10

YARD DEBRIS
No charge for WOW customers inside the city limits of Astoria, Gearhart, Warrenton and Cannon Beach. $10 per yard for all others.
NOTE: These customers have this service included in their trash bills. Please bring proof of residence (trash/utility bill and photo ID).


Fee Change Notice
Due to significant increases in our operational costs (fuel, equipment, parts, labor),
we are raising our base tipping fee and adjusting our minimum fees.

Effective July 1, 2010
the dump fees will be adjusted as follows:

Up to 100 lbs $12.18
110 to 400 lbs $22.70
410 to 600 lbs $33.05
610 to 800 lbs $43.40
810 to 1,000 lbs $48.75
Over 1,000 lbs $93.45 per ton

 


Tips and Suggestions:

  • Get more bang for your buck - make fewer trips with larger loads. Save time, gas, and money!

  • Recycle more. Sort out your scrap metal, cardboard, and other items.

  • Look into having WOW pick up from your home, business, or job site.

  • Separate lumber to pay a lower rate.
